FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and pertains to a spectrometric system and to a method for testing therefor. Spectrometric system comprises a body equipped with a window, located wherein are a light source, a spectrometer, and an internal recalibration standard. Specific absorption bands of the filler gas contained in the bode are recognised in the reference spectrum taken using the standard; wherein the characteristic wavelength is measured for each specific absorption band. The test spectrum is recorded by the spectrometer using the standard. Specific absorption bands of the filler gas are recognised in the test spectrum; wherein the characteristic wavelength is measured for each specific absorption band. The fact of whether the measured values of wavelengths of the specific absorption bands of the filler gas recognised in the test spectrum deviate from the measured values of wavelengths of the specific absorption bands of the filler gas recognised in the reference spectrum by more than a preset amount is then determined.

EFFECT: possibility of calibration without using external standards and increase in the accuracy of measurement.
