SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of technical anionic surfactants for oil industry by liquid-phase sulphonation of hydrocarbon material (low-quality hydrocarbon raw material and oil industry wastes containing alkyl aromatic compounds; extracts of selective purification of oil fractions; aromatic concentrates; oil fractions; petroleum; oils, etc.) with further neutralization of obtained product, characterized by that sulphonation process is carried out in an inert diluent medium (gasoline fraction, saturated hydrocarbons, chloroform, etc.) in the presence of phosphorus oxide and paraform with formation of technical anionic surfactants containing dimeric structure surfactants.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing anionic surfactants.
