SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a system for prevention of abuse or prevention of misuse of a transdermal patch. System preventing abuse or preventing misuse of the transdermal patch comprises a protective patch layer having an outer side and an inner side, where substances which disgust are embedded in the volume or irreversibly attached to the surface of the outer side of the protective layer, where the adhesive layer is attached to the inner side of the patch protective layer, where substances which disgust exhibit two-phase release profile when immersed in dissolving medium. Delivery system preventing abuse or preventing the misuse of the transdermal drug involves a patch protective layer containing a drug, an adhesive layer and a release substrate, wherein the substances dislodging are embedded in the volume or irreversibly attached to the outer surface of the patch protective layer, wherein the drug-containing adhesive layer comprises one or more therapeutically active substances, where the drug-containing adhesive layer is attached to the inner side of the patch protective layer, the release substrate is reversibly attached to the drug-containing adhesive layer and the release substrate is a permeable release substrate. Disclosed is a method for reducing potential abuse or misuse of a therapeutically active substance in a drug-containing plaster system.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions is effective preventing the abuse and deliberate abuse of transdermal drug delivery systems.
