FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to sports medicine, physiotherapy and balneotherapy, and can be used for rehabilitation of sportsmen. For this purpose, 2 Tambukan medical-mud applicators are heated to temperature 48 °C and arranged on symmetrical surfaces of knee / talocrural joint, covered with thermo-compressor preheated to 35–48 °C; procedure 1 duration is 15 minutes; for urgent recovery of locomotor apparatus of athletes immediately after physical exertion, 1 post-exercise procedure is applied; for delayed recovery, prevention of fatigue injuries and injuries, increase in the functional state of the locomotor apparatus, course of at least 7 procedures.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of recovery of locomotor apparatus of sportsmen after intensive physical exertion and rehabilitation after fatigue injuries and injures by increasing functional capabilities of neuromuscular and locomotor apparatus.
