SUBSTANCE: invention relates to homogeneous halogen-free decorative coatings. Disclosed is a halogen-free decorative coating for floor, walls or ceiling, comprising composition containing 25–70 wt. % of polymer mixture, including: a) 60–20 wt. % of at least one thermoplastic elastomer, which is a block-copolymer containing solid and soft sequences, where the solid sequence is (co)polymer of one or more vinyl aromatic monomers and where the soft sequence is (co)polymer of one or more alkylene or mixture of one or more alkylene with one or more vinyl aromatic monomers; b) 40-80 wt. % of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane in total (a) and (b) is 100 wt. % of polymer mixture. Also disclosed is a method of producing a halogen-free decorative surface coating.
EFFECT: technical result is improved method of producing halogen-free decorative coating, eliminating stage of vulcanisation.
