FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry. Method for thermal decontamination of well blowdown gases coming out of drilling at sulphur dioxide deposits, characterized in that well blowing gases are subjected to pyrolysis in a reducing atmosphere, at that conversion of hydrogen sulphide into atomic sulphur occurs, and in composition of converted gas discharged into atmosphere, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon oxide prevail, wherein for decontaminating gases a mobile sectional unit is used, having a gravitational separator, a disintegrating jet of the well fluid; furnace device, which creates a reducing atmosphere, which is favourable for pyrolysis of hydrocarbons and conversion of hydrogen sulphide; heat exchanger reducing temperature of converted gases to dew point of sulphur compounds; and a scrubber sulphur condenser, which facilitates removal of amorphous sulphur from the purified gas stream before their discharge into the environment.

EFFECT: technical result is providing more complete neutralization of hydrogen sulphide.
