SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connection of barbecue grate handles. Connection is achieved by means of movement of the shutoff element with applied force along elongated and shortened handles, containing during their contact, at least one pair of protrusions or recesses. In the point of lifting of the shut-off element, an additional force is applied to the ledge or at the outlet point of the recess, and when the recess passes or after the protrusion passes, the force is weakened.
EFFECT: excluding spontaneous movement of the shut-off element during operation of the device.
