FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. In method involving melting and refining for obtaining of refined molten steel, continuous casting of thin steel strip, low annealing, hot coating application, according to the invention, at the stage of continuous casting of a thin steel strip, the refined molten steel is poured into a two-roll casting machine, wherein under the cooling action of the rolls of the casting machine, the steel cools and solidifies in the form of a steel strip blank, wherein the casting process of the workpiece is carried out in a medium of a mixture of inert and reducing gas, wherein on the surface of the steel strip blank a film of iron oxides is formed; at the low annealing step, the cast workpiece is fed into the low-annealing furnace into which the mixed gas is also fed, wherein iron oxide film is reduced to ferruginous metal; at hot coating step, cast steel strip after cooling in protective atmosphere is directed into plating bath for application of zinc coating or other alloys, after that steel strip is cooled and wound.

EFFECT: method is provided for making hot-clad articles from a thin steel strip directly from molten steel without etching, which enables to provide mass production, by reducing the number of production steps caused by excluding the etching operation and combining the production of the thin steel strip by the continuous casting method with hot-coating application; metal is extracted, practically, up to 100 %.
