FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for electron-beam welding butt joints from difficult-welded dissimilar metals and alloys. Metal parts butt-ends are assembled, electron beam is directed to the butt, welding is performed with movement of the electron beam along the joint and deviation of the beam towards the heat-conducting material. Welding of medium-carbon steel with heat-resistant nickel alloy is performed by moving electron beam along joint with beam scanning in form of star, with diameter equal to width of lower part of weld, with frequency in range of 550–650 Hz and running energy in range of 10,093–39,050 J/cm. Shift of the center of the contact spot of the electron beam is made towards steel in range of 0.1–1 mm at a distance which is determined depending on thermal conductivity of steel and nickel alloy.
EFFECT: technical result of the claimed invention consists in production of parts with strength not lower than 90 % of strength of welded alloy, without defects and penetrations at welding at welding with minimum power consumption.
