FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed procedure for alloys age-hardening. The procedure consists in heating, ageing and cooling. For plastic deformation section of alloy surface is heated with a local heat source to ageing temperature. Heating is continued till temperature at points of surface opposite to a heated side of alloy reaches temperature of ageing. Further, procedure is repeated with another section of surface. Plastic deformation is performed by heating a section of alloy surface to ageing temperature and by mechanical treatment of an item with stretching of contracting and/or torsion loads, also by electro-magnet or radiation effects.
EFFECT: increased ultimate strength, expanded functionality of thermal age-hardening of alloys.
