METHOD FOR SELECTING AGENTS WHICH AFFECT INTESTINAL MOTILITY DISORDERS AND PAIN Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C12N1/20 C12Q1/02 A61P1/00 C12R1/225

Abstract RU 2701348 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for sampling a lactic acid bacterial strain effective for treating intestinal motility disorder is disclosed. Said method comprises: a) a stage of space-time (ST) mapping, which is carried out on the gastrointestinal segment in order to analyze the effect of said lactic acid bacterial strain on gastric and intestinal motility; b) a stage of detecting the nerve bundle ex vivo, which is carried out on the gastrointestinal segment in order to analyze the effect of the said lactic acid bacterial strain on the passage of pulses on the mesenteric afferent nerves; and c) a step for selecting a bacterial strain effective for treating intestinal motility disorder in accordance with the selection criteria based on the effects of said agent on gastric and intestinal motility and on the mesenteric afferent nerve impulses analyzed at step (a) and step (b), where the selection criteria vary depending on the motility disorder, which is desirably to be treated. Also disclosed are bacterial strains of Lactobacillus gasseri LG345A (DSM 27123) and Lactobacillus gasseri LG621A (DSM 27126) selected using the method of the invention, and use of said strains in treating intestinal motility disorders.

EFFECT: invention provides selection of lactic acid bacterial strain effective for treating intestinal motility disorder.
