FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. Aneurismically changed aorta is removed. Two support rings with width of 3 cm are cut out of a linear aortic prosthesis. Diameter of the prosthesis is selected proceeding from the size of the unchanged aorta. Cut out support rings are threaded on distal and proximal portions of aorta. They are fixed in circumferential direction by three U-shaped polypropylene seams. Then, distal and proximal anastomoses of the prosthesis and aorta are formed by means of a single-row continuous suture with mandatory sequential suturing of the synthetic linear prosthesis, aorta and support ring.
EFFECT: method enables to strengthen aorta walls, in its delaminations and degenerative changes, to simulate proximal and distal aortic parts to the required diameter of the prosthesis, reliably fix the prosthesis, reduce the load on the suture area, prevent the anastomosis aneurysm.
