FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of removing at least 20 % aromatic hydrocarbons contained in a fraction boiling at temperature higher than 190 °C, from heavy hydrocarbon material containing at least 30 wt. % of aromatic hydrocarbons, at least 3000 wt. parts per million of nitrogen and at least 0.5 wt. % of oxygen, wherein said method is carried out in one step, in which no intermediate stream is removed, and wherein said method includes the following steps: a) providing a product fed into the hydrotreater by mixing said heavy hydrocarbon feedstock with excess hydrogen; b) providing a hydrotreated hydrocarbon product containing less than 30 wt. parts per million of nitrogen by hydrofining said product fed into hydrotreater by bringing it into contact with material catalytically active in hydrofining in hydrotreating conditions; c) providing a hydrotreated product in form of a hydrocarbon product hydrotreated at step b. Invention also relates to a method for producing a hydrotreated product comprising the above steps, as well as additional steps: d) an additional hydrotreatment stage, where said hydrotreated product is brought into contact with an additional material having catalytic activity in hydrotreatment under hydrotreatment conditions to obtain hydrotreated hydrocarbon, and e) providing a hydrotreated product in the form of a hydrotreated hydrocarbon product of step d. Content of aromatic hydrocarbons in heavy hydrocarbon material, as a rule, can range from 30 wt. % to 90 wt. % of aromatic hydrocarbons. Content of nitrogen in heavy hydrocarbon material, as a rule, can be from 3000 wt. parts per million up to 10,000 wt. parts per million. As a rule, content of oxygen in heavy hydrocarbon raw material may be equal to 0.5 wt. % up to 10 wt. %. Removal of aromatic hydrocarbons from the fraction boiling at temperature higher than 190 °C, can be from 20 %, 40 % or 80 % to 99 % or 100 %.
EFFECT: disclosed is production of high-quality diesel fuel and lubricant materials from aromatic carbonaceous material with high boiling point.
