INDIVIDUAL CARE DEVICE HAVING SELF-TUNING AMPLITUDE ADJUSTMENT BY MEANS OF NON-LINEARITY AND ACTIVE CONTROL OF EXCITATION OF ACTUATING DEVICE, AND METHOD IMPLEMENTING THEREOF Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61C17/22

Abstract RU 2701583 C2

FIELD: brush articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to individual care devices. Individual care device (10) configured to operate with self-tuning amplitude control among a plurality of different characteristic load states (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110), wherein the device comprises actuator (14) having movable shaft (18) configured to resonantly move (38) in response to excitation signal (25) and for connection to working member (20), wherein actuator (14) is further configured to operate in accordance with nonlinear amplitude-frequency characteristic (58) of displacement amplitude versus frequency; current sensor (28) for tracking excitation current; and controller (24) connected to actuator (14) through current sensor (28), wherein controller (24) (i) is configured to detect at least one of plurality of different characteristic load states (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110) in response to variation of monitored excitation current (29) and (ii) with possibility of active supply of excitation signal (25) to actuating device (14) selected from at least two different excitation signals depending on detected characteristic load state from plurality of different characteristic states (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110) of load for self-tuning amplitude adjustment of movable shaft resonance movement (38) among a plurality of different characteristic load states, including one or more additional loads in the form of a force, spring, mass and damping to preset load state of resonant spring-mass system of actuating device (14) connected to working element (20); wherein in response to detecting the load characteristic state corresponding to (100) state outside the oral cavity, controller (24) is configured to actively supply the first excitation signal (66) to actuator (14) at natural frequency and at a relatively low wire power, and in response to detecting a load characteristic state corresponding to the other of the plurality of characteristic load states (102, 104, 106, 108, 110), controller (24) is configured to actively send the second excitation signal (70) to actuator (14) on operating frequency and relatively high drive power.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of improved individual care device.
