FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing materials for friction and a method for experimental determination of forces / friction coefficients when sliding cargo trays on floor coating of automotive trucks, in particular, on plywood laminated board. Tested cargo tray is installed on the working surface of the tested plywood board, the tribocoupling is loaded with the uniformly distributed specified normal load, to the tray a shearing force is applied by means of its movement mechanism, which is conjugated with the force meter, and detecting pallet shifting forces during its retraction and subsequent displacement, from which the unknown static and dynamic friction coefficients of the conjugated objects are then calculated. Above the tested pallet, a process tray is additionally installed, in its apertures there laid are support bars, the length of which exceeds the width of the analyzed shield, on both sides of the shield under protruding ends of the bars low-capacity load lifting devices are installed, the distributed given normal load is created by a set of unitary weights of the fixed mass, placed on the floor of the process tray, the loaded process tray is jacked up, lifting it above the cargo tray, unloaded tested tray is turned through 90°, after which process tray is lowered again, and they are moved together along shield surface.
EFFECT: simple method of determining friction coefficients, low costs of auxiliary and commissioning works when determining friction forces (coefficients), sliding of conjugated materials of cargo pallets and standard plywood shields even in the absence of means of mechanization of these works, which is especially important in case of deficit of free production areas.
