METHOD OF TREATING ACQUIRED SPINAL PATHOLOGIES DUE TO DISPLACEMENT OF HUMAN CENTER OF GRAVITY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61H7/00

Abstract RU 2701781 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to manual medicine, orthopedics, physiotherapy, and can be used for improving the quality of rehabilitation of spinal osteochondrosis manifestations, diseases of connective-articular apparatus of various etiology and deformity of statics. Treatment consists of two periods. First period is aimed at eliminating muscular spasms, trigger points. In the supine position, the length of the individual's legs is compared, and if the length of the legs differs by the massage effect performed in three stages, the length of the legs is leveled. At the first stage, maximal strong pressure is applied to trigger points in gluteus muscles. Massage movements are mainly standard; however, force of exposure is 2-3 times more intense (according to subjective sensation of massage therapist) than in usual massage. Intensity of exposure is maximum strong point action on trigger points in gluteus muscles. Such action due to removal of cramps in gluteus muscle eliminating trigger points in them allows stretching muscles. At the second stage muscles are relaxed along the spine. Main techniques for relaxing the muscles along the spinal column involve the most intense pressing, displacement and stretching of the muscles along the spinal column. At the third stage, the upper back muscles are relaxed by means of deep and maximum intensive rubbing and pressing of trigger points around blades, arms, and neck. Second period consists in establishment of long wearing of heel pad in shoes. This stage is performed at the end of massage action. In shoes under heel of leg, which visually looked longer, damping heel pad is installed for fixation and stabilization of center of gravity.

EFFECT: method enables providing more effective rehabilitation of spinal osteochondrosis manifestations and eliminating the causes of the disease.
