SUBSTANCE: method of treating craniovertebral dysfunction refers to medicine, mainly to point massage. Method involves complex diagnosis of craniovertebral dysfunction and subsequent elimination of spasm of suboccipital muscles by reflex relaxation, which is carried out by point action on trigger zones of paired suboccipital muscles. Exposure is performed by means of a massager equipped with a rounded working end with a hemisphere radius of 4 mm. Result of treating craniovertebral dysfunction is re-adjustment of motor control programs, which forms adaptation of all systems to new free operation of craniovertebral region, change of posture and movement of body in space without forced limitations.
EFFECT: method provides eliminating a spasm of the suboccipital muscles, leads to improved blood supply of the upper spinal cord, cerebellum and posterior part of the brain.
