FIELD: shaping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of auxiliary processes in machining of workpieces and can be used for strain-free fixation thereof. Method involves using a substrate, pre-installed and secured on the work top of a metal-cutting machine, made in a shape corresponding to the shape of the workpiece being fixed; cleaning and degreasing the surfaces of the substrate and the workpiece; and applying an adhesive polymer composition onto the surface of the substrate and the workpiece, which is done at an ambient temperature of 15 to 28 °C and a humidity of 20 to 60 %; the adhered surfaces are adjoined tightly, providing a thickness of the intermediate layer of the polymer composition of 0.001 to 0.1 mm, and a load of 10 to 100 N is shortly, for less than 0.1 s, applied to the adhered surfaces. A composition based on cyanoacrylic acid ethers is used as a polymer composition, including nanoscale silicon oxide particles in concentrations from 1.5 to 2.5 wt.%, as well as alkylamines, dimethyl stearylamines, and distearyl methylamines as modifiers.
EFFECT: possibility of increasing the fixation reliability, especially for thin-walled non-rigid workpieces.
