SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for selecting and controlling massage functions of a motor vehicle seat and a corresponding device. Vehicle seat comprises seat and seat backs, air chambers arranged in seat above cushion material, controller and inflation system. Seat back comprises metal carcass with cushion material arranged thereon. Air chambers are located in landing part above pillow material. Controller is configured to individually control the inflation level of each of the air chambers. Air chambers are inflated to completely inflated state in response to collision event determined by controller. Inflation system is located under the landing part and contains multiple target air bypass channels located between the air chambers of the landing part. Besides, multiple target air bypass channels extend from inflatable system and are branched in the center.
