FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of synthetic rubber used in production of tires, rubber articles, in electrical engineering and other fields. Described is a method of producing modified polydienes in an organic solvent medium, on a catalyst system comprising a lanthanide, an organoaluminium compound and a halogen-containing component, with subsequent end modification of the obtained "pseudo-living" polymer with at least one compound selected from a group of heterocyclic nitrogen-containing compounds. Present invention also relates to modified polydienes obtained using this method. Invention also relates to rubber mixtures based on obtained polydienes.
EFFECT: obtained modified polydiene is characterized by high degree of modification (not less than 90 %), high content of 1,4-cis-links and narrow molecular weight distribution, improved processability at the stage of rubber mixing.
