FIELD: warning systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emergency notification systems. Method of launching and diagnosing warning sirens, including short-term test start-up and alarm triggering of siren, and in short-term testing mode and in alarm notification mode, complex diagnostics of warning sirens is carried out, simultaneously measuring currents in windings of siren asynchronous motor and horn mechanical drum rotation frequency, and in the alarm notification mode, measurements are taken during the siren activation time with interval of 1 s, comparing obtained values of currents and rotation frequency with corresponding control values, pre-installed and stored in non-volatile memory of control board of HSCD, results of comparison are transmitted to automated monitoring and control system or to independent operator's panel.

EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability and reliability of sirens warning.
