FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to a method of producing tetra-1,10-phenanthroline-μ2-fumarate-dicooper(II) chloride, involving reaction of a metal ion with ligands in the medium of a two-component organic solvent with subsequent separation of the residue, characterized in that the solvent used is a dimethylsulphoxide : ethanol system with volume ratio of components of 1:1, interaction is carried out by electrolysis of solution containing 1,10-phenanthroline and fumaric acid, with copper electrodes and potassium chloride as a background electrolyte, wherein weight ratio of DMSO : ethanol : phenanthroline : fumaric acid : electrolyte is 55.00:39.50:1.00:2.00:0.10, density of direct current is 5–8 mA/cm2.
EFFECT: obtaining binuclear heteroligand complex compound of copper (II) with 1,10-phenanthroline and fumaric acid in one stage and with less time costs.
