FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the analytical and pharmaceutical industry, specifically to the determination of residual amounts of chloride 2-[(Z)-1-(3,5-diphenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2(3H)-ylidene)methyl]-3,5-diphenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole-3-ium (TDZ) in biological fluids in establishing pharmacokinetic parameters and determining a therapeutic dose of the preparation. Disclosed is a method of determining TDZ in biological fluids using high-performance liquid chromatography, involving sampling, precipitation, centrifugation, filtration, introducing the sample into a liquid chromatograph, chromatography and analysis results. Fluorometric detector is used, chromatograms are recorded at excitation wavelength of 435 nm and emission wavelength of 520 nm, Zorbax Eclipse Plus C8 column is used with length of 250 mm, inner diameter of 4.6 mm and particle size of 5 mcm at mobile phase flow rate of 1.0 ml/min and volume of introduced sample 20 mcl.
EFFECT: invention enables determination of TDZ in a concentration range of 10 ng/ml to 5 mcg/ml, high stability of the obtained data, low cost of analyzing and maintaining the instrument by using a fluorimetric detector.
