FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry, namely to a method for determining aminoglycoid antibiotics by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. A method for determining aminoglycoside antibiotics by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography, including an isocratic elution mode using a chromatographic column, using an ultraviolet detector, and gentamicin is derivatised in advance by adding 25 µl of a 5% sodium carbonate solution in water and 25 µl of a 5% phenylisothiocyanate solution in acetonitrile to 100 µl of the sample, then the mixture is mixed on vortex for 30 seconds and heated for 15 minutes at 50 °C in a solid-state thermostat, then the reaction mixture is diluted with 850 µl of acetonitrile/20 mM sodium acetate mixture, pH 4.70 in a ratio of 20:80 at a wavelength of 250 nm ultraviolet detector.
EFFECT: invention enables to expand the functionality by expanding the spectrum of the studied objects - aminoglycoside antibiotics, for example gentamicin in dosage forms and biological fluids.
