FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, more specifically to methods of producing polysulphide. Disclosed is a method of producing polysulphide in which a polysulphide reactor (Rc) in the form of an electrolytic cell or in form of an activated carbon layer is subjected to a second filtering process by means of a cross-flow filter (Fx). Retentate from the cross-flow filtration method is continuously merged into the process point before the first filtration or clarification step.
EFFECT: technical result is considerable reduction of levels of residual solid substances in white liquor, expanded operational suitability of second filtering method, enabling operation of the polysulphide reactor with increased operating load, high volume of producing polysulphide, as well as smaller disturbance of the mode for the method with minimum reservoirs and pumps.
