FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing equipment and can be used for monitoring state of detachable connections of industrial pipelines, particularly in heat and nuclear power, in chemical and oil and gas industry, as well as in critical units of other industries. Intelligent seal comprises an annular sealing element and an optical fiber with FOS. Optical fiber is integrated into the sealing element body including the elastoviscous material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of seal operation due to improved quality of diagnostics, possibility of automated monitoring of assembly works and ease of operation.
