FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, specifically to sample preparation methods. Analysis of the chemical composition of the sample containing amorphous and crystalline phases of boron and a composition of boron with organic substances involves taking a weighed portion, mixing with a mixture of aqueous solutions of mineral acids – nitric, hydrofluoric and sulfuric as an active liquid, and separation into functional components. Mixing is carried out in several stages at complex exposure to temperatures of not more than 220 °C and pressures of not more than 80 bar in combination with exposure to microwave radiation with working frequency of wave action of magnetron of not more than 2,450 MHz and power of microwaves of not more than 1,450 W. Number of stages is proportional to degree of crystallinity of boron, to size of particles of the sample. At each next step, the boron solid sample is treated by alternating mixing alternatively with a mixture of said mineral acids or with concentrated nitric acid until complete dissolution of the sample.

EFFECT: enabling complete dissolution of boron samples containing both crystalline and amorphous phases and boron compositions with organic substances having different solubilities in conventional solvents.
