FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a particle separation system for a catalytic chemical reactor. System includes a plurality of filter sections comprising overflow systems, providing particle capture while maintaining a constant pressure drop in the system and limiting the fluid load throughout the system, and a filter plate comprising a row of reservoirs with walls for collecting liquid, combining deposition and filtration. At that, multiple reservoirs are interconnected in series upstream and downstream and one of walls of reservoir contains filtration medium, at that level of liquid of upstream reservoir is increased, when the filter medium of the tray is gradually plugged, thereby exposing the downstream reservoirs to the liquid flow, as a result of which the walls of the reservoir function as overflow partition walls, and wherein open channel downstream of overflow partition wall is configured to provide pressure drop, which is higher than sum of pressure drops of all in-series connected reservoirs with uncapped filtration medium in filtering plate.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient separation of particles and prolonged efficient operation of the reactor despite presence of any impurities of particles in the liquid flow at the inlet of the reactor.
