FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, namely to a method for treating horses with acute aseptic tendovaginitis. A method of treating horses with acute aseptic tendovaginitis, involving the use of plasma enriched with thrombocytes, wherein the plasma is introduced 3 times, with break of 6-7 days from the day of the beginning of the inflammatory process in the pathological center of the superficial flexor in amount of 5–7 ml into three points: one point – directly to the affected tendon and two points on the sides of the inflammation center, wherein after the last introduction of the plasma, the area of the tendon is burned by the thermocautery to a depth of not more than 2 mm to the appearance of lymphatic effusion and the iodine solution is rubbed into the affected area, then a compress is applied for 1.5 months.
EFFECT: method described above provides higher clinical effectiveness in acute aseptic tendovaginitis.
