Probability of occluding the coronary shunt is calculated by the formula P=ey/(1+ey), where e is base of natural logarithm, equal to 2.72; and y is a natural logarithm of odds ratio for shunting occlusion; wherein y is found by formula y=-37.838+3.945*EDV+13.426*LArat., where EDV is the left ventricular end-diastolic volume, pre-operative; LArat. – ratio screening and confirming test for definition of lupous anticoagulant, indirectly reflects quantitative content of LA.

EFFECT: method enables determining a probability of occlusion of coronary shunts in male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus on the basis of assessment of left ventricular contractility and quantitative content of lupoid anticoagulant in blood.
