SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at diagnosing the risk of gallstones in females. Presence of such diseases as diabetes mellitus (DM), arterial hypertension (AH), body mass index (BMI), age, total cholesterol (TCS) and triglycerides (TG) are determined by blood. Then according to the table, which indicates possible combinations of values of three factors: DM, AH, BMI define a line corresponding to the available values of these factors in the examined woman. Row defined in this way indicates the number of the other table, which contains possible combinations of values of the other three factors: TCS, TG and age. According to this table, according to the available values of these factors, a high, low or doubtful probability of the presence of gallstones in the examined woman is determined.
EFFECT: method enables assessing the probability of having gallstones in an outpatient setting.
