FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to digital instruments for measuring AC and DC voltage, mainly in electric power networks of 6 (10) kV and higher. Device for measuring voltage in high-voltage circuit with remote transmission of information comprises voltage sensor, power supply, microcontroller of communication, communication equipment, communication channel, external receiver, screening sealed housing. Voltage sensor is in form of a capacitive voltage divider, the first cover plate of which is a current lead, the second one – a metal isolated rod parallel to the current conductor, which is suspended at a small distance from the first electrode. Measured value of potential difference between plates allows calculating voltage on phase conductor of line by equation  , where ΔU is measured difference of potentials between current-conducting part and metal insulated rod;

EFFECT: higher reliability and accuracy of measurements due to exclusion of complexity in adjustment of voltage sensor, which includes transmitting and receiving sensors, due to elimination of non-linear dependence of output characteristics.
