FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device incorporates additional communication microcontroller with ADC, communication hardware and channel to transmit data on measured voltage to external device, voltage transducer composed of transmitting transducer connected to current lead whereat measurements are conducted, receiving transducer connected to said communication microcontroller to convert electromagnetic wave radiation into electric signal with parameters proportional to measured magnitude, power supply with secondary circuits and built around low-voltage current transformer. Note here that low-voltage current transformer winding is connected in parallel to extra overvoltage limiter and, via secondary circuits, to communication microcontroller. Note also that said communication microcontroller is connected via communication hardware and channel to external device. Note that transmitting transducer is built around gas-discharge tube. Mind that receiving transducer comprises photodiode to optimise spectral characteristic to gas-discharge tube emission spectrum. Overvoltage limiter represents a nonlinear component without spark-dischargers. Secondary circuits comprises standby feed capacitor and/or storage battery as well as storage battery charger. Note that communication channel represents an atmospheric optical communication line or fiber optical communication line or radio channel.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of measurements.
