FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas turbine engine building, in particular to the method for determination of maximum permissible values of vibratory signals of the housing of the gas-turbine engine with a disk with a crack, which serve to evaluate the possibility of continuing operation of the engine in operation taking into account development of a crack in its disk. According to disclosed method based on investigation of stepped cracks of crashed disks and measurement results of vibration signal values on engine housing during simulation of energy pulse released during stepwise development of crack in disk at different stages of destruction, maximum permissible values of vibration signals are set when operation of engines with a disk having a crack should be terminated.

EFFECT: invention enables to determine limit values of vibration signals corresponding to the beginning of uncontrolled destruction of the disk.
