FIELD: cyclic durability restoring methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for restoring cyclic durability and increasing disk resource. The method includes determining the depth of the layer with microcracks to be removed in a potentially dangerous zone of the disk, removing the defective metal layer with multiple microcracks, polishing and then strengthening the treated surface with microspheres, while determining the depth of the layer to be removed is carried out on the basis of the data on the depth of the layer with microcracks measured as a result of a fractographic study of samples cut from disks with a similar operating time.
EFFECT: reduced costs for maintenance and operation of gas turbine engines by increasing the efficiency of diagnosing disks and restoring disks to a specified resource.
