SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring means designed to monitor the state of a security object by periodic polling of detectors. Possibility of monitoring the protected object taking into account the visual identification of the threat is caused by the fact that when analysing the state of the protected object in accordance with certain readings of certain sensors if there is a threat feature in the received message in accordance with the criticality class of the situation, a control signal is sent to a control unit of video cameras, which includes video cameras of the corresponding monitored zones and directs them to the expected location of the threat. Higher reliability of decision making in case of alarm situation is provided by the fact that information coming from video cameras is detected for compliance with threat, after that, in case of its coincidence with information received from the comparator unit, in accordance with the received algorithm of processing alarm information, a control signal is sent to actuating devices for elimination and/or prevention of an emergency situation.

EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of decision-making in case of alarm situation due to enabling monitoring of protected object with due allowance for visual identification of threat.
