FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used in mechanical engineering, in the jewelry industry as a non-corrosive basis for gilding and silvering and can compete with a chrome electrochemical coating. Method includes the introduction of an aqueous suspension of modified detonation nanodiamonds (MDND) in the electrolyte for the deposition of the coating and electrolysis, MDND is obtained by undermining a mixed charge of TNT and RDX in aqueous solution of urotropine, comprising 2.0–10.0 % of monosubstituted ammonium phosphate.
EFFECT: increase of microhardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of nickel-diamond coating.
