SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in those industries where low-noise motor is required. Electrostatic motor consists of rotor made of blades arranged on engine shaft. In the blades housing there is a movement mechanism acting on the blades, which is made in the form of a pusher and composed of a base and a rod. Pusher is coupled with blades by springs and is equipped with plates with negative charge made in the form of monoelectret. At that, plates, monoelectrets, in operation contact and interact with plates of blades, made of metal, connected to high-voltage source located in the blades housing.

EFFECT: disclosed is an electrostatic motor.
