FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electrostatic bumper comprises a body and rod with head equipped with pads. The pads are completed with disc plates. The rod pad in the lower part and the respective side of the body pad are equipped with electrets. The rod pad and body pad are completed with thin metal plates coupled to high voltage source and isolated from the bumper parts.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher operational reliability of the bumper.
