SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for raising eggs, in particular for raising eggs contained on a platform or in containers. Egg transfer system comprises a first retaining structure configured to grip and deflect around the egg such that the egg can fit into the first retaining structure. System also includes a second retaining structure located opposite the first retaining structure and configured to grip and deflect around the egg such that the egg is capable of being seated in the second retaining structure. First and second retaining structures have a plurality of loop-like resilient elements configured to interact to form a structure with open ends through which an egg is capable of being received. First and second retaining structures are configured to interact by movement relative to each other, and such interaction, thus, forces the egg to be transferred between them in each direction without mechanical action of the loop-like resilient elements.

EFFECT: providing lifting and transfer of eggs by light and simplified method with simultaneous facilitation of device maintenance.
