FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to a method of identifying signals scattered by air targets in a spatially distributed radio navigation system (RNS), comprising radio transmitters of reference stations and a receiver, in which targets are illuminated using signals from radio transmitters of RNS. Result is achieved due to the fact that radio transmitters of reference stations RNS emit navigation signals, which are scattered by air targets; receiver antenna array receives signals scattered by air targets; receiver direction finding unit provides reception of signals from antenna array channels and calculation of spatial spectrum of signals scattered by air targets received by antenna elements of antenna array, and determination of arrival directions of signals arriving to antenna array from aerial targets; signal identification unit receiving signals from antenna array transmitting channels and direction of signals from direction finding unit estimates the vector containing signals scattered by corresponding air targets. Thus, a scattered signal corresponding to it is transmitted in the receiver of the multiposition spatially distributed radio navigational system of each aerial target, which is transmitted to the consumer.
EFFECT: technical result is identification of signals received by a receiver, scattered by air targets, with these targets from measurements of directions on air targets.
