SUBSTANCE: method includes mechanical treatment of working surfaces of wheels of railway vehicles using machine for mechanical treatment of wheels, wherein at certain stage of technological process roller surfaces are run-in by means of working roller. At that, rolling force is controlled by control over torque of drive motors of feed axles.
EFFECT: method and device for mechanical treatment of working surfaces of wheels of railway vehicles are proposed.
