FIELD: machining of metals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing and can be used in processing wheels of rail vehicles. Proposed device comprises bed and two-coordinate support arranged thereon and provided with appropriate ball-screw drive drives and guides, cutting tool secured at support, moulding device and adjustable length adjustable arranged between said bed and opposite rail. Frame can be attached at least in two cross sections to rail with possibility of adjustment of its longitudinal and transverse displacement. On the bed there is a releasable device with a plate of the master plate detachably installed with possibility of adjustable longitudinal and transverse movement, in the middle part of which there formed is a shaped through slot with a shape corresponding to the type of the processed wheel profile. In the cut there is a roller installed on a carrier fixed on the upper support.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves quality of wheel processing.
