FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: use: to compensate for measurement error of ultrasonic locator. Summary of invention consists in the fact that compensation device for measurement error of an ultrasonic locator comprises a control and display unit which is connected to the first and second generators. First generator is connected to first radiation and reception sensor, which is connected to first amplifier, to which are connected in series the first threshold device, the first generating unit, the first time interval measurement unit, the control and display unit. Second generator is connected to second radiation and reception sensor, which is connected to second amplifier, to which second threshold device is connected in series, a second time interval generating unit, a second time interval measuring unit, a control and display unit. Reference voltage source is connected to the first and second threshold devices. Control and indication unit is connected to the first and second time interval forming units. Time adjustment unit of amplification is connected to the first and second amplifiers and to the control and indication unit.

EFFECT: reduced measurement error due to insufficient amplitude of the reflected signal.
