FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machine building. Header cutting unit comprises pin bar with pins and shearing blades, knife in form of chain contour with segments, blade drive, box guides, protective shield, driving and driven sprockets, low-magnetic material plate with made hole, in which sensor is installed, fixed by fastening element and connected with control unit and signaling device, drive with brush. Cutting tool is additionally equipped with control unit including at least five two-way two-section hydraulic distributors with slide valves and control and regulation electromagnets connected by electric circuit with control unit. Spools of second sections of the second, third and fourth hydraulic control valves are equipped with adjustable throttles with different maximum capacity of working fluid. Control unit is programmed for simultaneous pairwise movement of slide valves of hydraulic control valves by means of electromagnets. In each electric circuit connecting the electromagnet with the control unit, a signaling device is installed in the form of a set of electric bulbs of different color, which indicate the number of the hydraulic distributor included into the work. Electromagnets are equipped with manual control button. Spool of the fifth hydraulic distributor is kinematically connected to the fuel supply system of the internal combustion engine of the combine.

EFFECT: cutting device ensures the required linear speed of cutting elements at failure of one or several adjacent cutting segments.
