SUBSTANCE: invention refers to communication engineering. Communication device includes a PHY frame generation circuit that generates a PHY frame including any of the sector short probing frame and the sector probing frame; and a transmission antenna array which selects, based on the PHY frame, any sector from a plurality of sectors and transmits a PHY frame. In case, when in PHY frame including short SSW frame, short SSW frame duration field indicates sector probing by initiator, PHY frame generation circuit generates short sector probing feedback field indicating index of selected best short SSW with field of short scrambled ID of basic set of services, which indicates reduced address generated from address of communication recipient device.

EFFECT: high degree of error detection.
