FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and is intended for transmission and reception of a data unit in a wireless communication system. User equipment is configured to transmit to a base station a scheduled transmission, which comprises a data unit and one or more repetitions of the data unit. Scheduled transmission in this respect is transmitted with gaps of absence of transmission in it in compliance with template of gaps of absence of transmission, which sets pattern of intervals of absence of transmission in time. Base station may be respectively configured to receive scheduled transmission from user equipment at intervals of absence of transmission therein in accordance with gaps of absence of transmission pattern.
EFFECT: efficient consumption of limited radio resources and avoiding hovering during long waiting for access to resources for servicing.
