FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in production of mortar and articles: bricks, silicate concrete etc. Method of activating lime for making construction articles involves preliminary treatment of lime and sand by a vortex layer of anisotropic ferromagnetic bodies in a nonmagnetic reservoir placed in an apparatus with an external electromagnetic field. Mixture of lime and sand by means of translational movement of the piston is supplied along the inner cavity of the non-magnetic continuous pipe to the zone of rotating anisotropic ferromagnetic bodies with diameter of 0.8–1.5 mm and length of 5–10 mm, motion of which is provided by the apparatus with external electromagnetic field. At that, energy saturation and length of working zone is not less than 100 kW/m³ and 0.6 m. Ratio of lime and sand is 1:3–1:2. Activation time is 2–4 minutes. At that, axis of cylindrical non-magnetic pipe is arranged at angle of 5–25° in direction of lime and sand mixture supply.
