METHOD FOR MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF MONOMER C-REACTIVE PROTEIN ON THE SURFACE OF BLOOD CELLS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/49

Abstract RU 2704128 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used to measure concentration of monomeric C-reactive protein on the surface of blood cells. That is ensured by the method of cytofluorometry. Two antibodies to C-reactive protein are used, one of which reacts with epitopes presented only on native C-reactive protein. Second reacts both with epitopes presented on native, and monomer C-reactive proteins. Each antibody is conjugated with a separate cytophluorochrome. Signals obtained from each cytofluorochrome are registered on separate channels simultaneously. A signal from cytofluorochrome conjugated with a selective antibody to native C-reactive protein is recorded. A signal from cytofluorochromes of both antibodies is recorded. A signal from cytofluorochrome conjugated with a cross antibody to the native and monomeric C-reactive protein is recorded. Concentration of monomeric C-reactive protein is calculated based on the obtained data.

EFFECT: invention provides higher effectiveness and sensitivity of the method of measuring monomer C-reactive protein concentration in patients.
