FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology and laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to stratify the residual inflammatory risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases by determining the level of highly sensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP). If the hsCRP level is less than 2 mg/l, the residual inflammatory risk is considered low, and if the hsCRP level is equal to or more than 2 mg/l, it is considered high. When determining the level of hsCRP less than 2 mg/l, the level of the monomeric form of C-reactive protein (mCRP) is additionally determined. If the mCRP value is less than 7 mcg/l, the residual inflammatory risk is assessed as truly low, and if the mCRP value is equal to or more than 7 mcg/l, the risk is assessed as high.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the efficiency and reliability of stratification of the residual inflammatory risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases by determining the level of highly sensitive CRP and the monomeric form of CRP.
